Rate limit reached
Some users see Gemini rate limits from time to time, especially on free Gemini plans. This is usually a usage-limit issue on the Gemini side, not a problem with your extension setup.
Important: Gemini premium plans and this extension are separate. Upgrading one does not automatically upgrade the other.
In many cases, waiting around an hour and trying again works. If you still need to continue right away, signing into a different Gemini account can also help.

- Wait about one hour, then try again.
- Check which Gemini account is currently active.
- Sign into another Gemini account if you need to continue immediately.

This message often appears when uploaded text is flagged. It can happen because of content restrictions, copyright concerns, or other moderation reasons. That means the result is not always controlled by the extension itself.
If that text cannot be processed there, try an alternative text-to-speech option such as googl-reader.com.

Highlight the text and double-click it. The read option appears and then opens the Gemini Reader overlay.
